Transportation Guide

Some people are so focused on the “being there” part of travel that they overlook the “getting there” part. And yes, sometimes the “getting there” part is more annoying than it is exciting (as the airlines are so willing to demonstrate these days) – but it’s still something you need to think about, especially if you’ll be doing anything more than flying in and out of the same city and not venturing beyond that city for your whole trip.

In this section, you’ll find information about the various forms of transportation – it’s all about the planes, trains, and automobiles! But we don’t stop there – you’ll find information about cruises, buses, coaches, and car rentals here, too. We’ve got a really informative air travel section from writer Patrick Smith, author of “Ask the Pilot,” as well as plenty of other articles about other ways of getting from Point A to Point B. If your preferred mode of travel isn’t featured here, it’s because someone like you hasn’t yet shared their expertise on the topic – we’d love to include your wisdom, if you’d like to share it with us!
